Reporting Guide

We always strive to ensure the best atmosphere and fairness to everyone in our community. Players, as well as staff members, should act within the simple set of rules. Unfortunately, it is not always the case that people adhere to those rules. This forum is for those who have witnessed such cases.
How does the reporting process work?
Fill in a form when creating a new topic. After that, a staff member will review your report and provide feedback.
If the defendant is found guilty, an appropriate sanction will be applied.
When reporting on someone's behalf, please include their account name in the description.
Please do not send private messages to staff members or create multiple topics if your report does not receive an immediate response. Some cases may take a significantly longer time to investigate than others. Depending on the situation, the defendant may be given a certain period in which they can respond. In particular, this applies to cases where evidence is not conclusive.
Where to find the server rules?
Server rules are available in the help panel (F9).
There are multiple translations of the rules available; however, some languages may contain outdated versions. We highly recommend reading the English version before making reports.
Who may post in a report?
If no staff member responds to the report within 24 hours, anyone with meaningful information may reply.
Reports for chat misuse
Reports for global chat misuse may be reported using our in-game report system (/report) and will generally be handled more quickly.
If you decide to report it here, you will also have to provide screenshots of the chat messages.
We do not handle private chat reports for flaming and provoking. If you find someone to be offensive, please use the block feature.
Evidence
Depending on the situation, different forms of evidence may be used; however, the evidence must always originate from within Epic-Row. We do not accept Discord, Facebook chat logs, or other information outside our platform.
The evidence must indicate the offense and the player committing that offense. For example, if the name of the reported player is not visible in a screenshot, the evidence may be deemed insufficient.
The evidence must also be provided within full context. For example, if the provided chat log or screenshot of a chat contains only the message presumed to be the source of the rule violation but does not contain any previous messages leading up to that violation, we may consider such evidence insufficient.
Slander/fake evidence
If the provided evidence turns out to be fake or the claims are slanderous and demonstrably false, appropriate consequences may be imposed on the reporter.
