No, the update fixes players sometimes being able to hide a vehicle anywhere in the PvP zone but adds an exception for safe zones.

So by "safe zone" you mean the edge of the pvp where it says you are approaching pvp zone?

By safe zone he meant squad bases, if your squad owns a base it becomes a safe zone where zombies can't enter or spawn and you can hide your vehicles.
